Leaping into 2024 like a sterntube seals engineer

Happy New Year! We hope you had a fabulous time over the holidays and would like to renew our best wishes for a brilliant 2024.

For the first time this year the company introduced mandated closure days across all our facilities, during which a small team was on call and ready to respond to any urgent requests. Our office and warehouse-based teams all got back bright-eyed and bushy-tailed from the Christmas break. 

Most of us were back in the first week of January ready to take on the new year with a renewed drive.

The start of the new year was much more demanding for our team of sterntube seals engineers who were hard at work with barely any break in their tight schedule. In less than a month from Christmas they have already travelled to two UK drydocks and abroad to Turkey, Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, and Oman, including an urgent call on Boxing Day. 

Thankfully, Lee, Callum, Chris, Conor and Michael are all young and full of energy. They also benefit from the reliable backup offered by Kevin, our most senior engineer, who has been with us since our company started offering engineering services and is not quite so young, except in spirit! They are all always taking on the next job with solid competency, positive attitude and a big smile.
