Extra expos after SLX expansion

As our Group grows, so do our global engagements. Luckily, we love networking at trade fairs!

After welcoming Clements Engineering as the newest member of SLX Group, we were both excited and grateful to see the news about the acquisition shared widely on maritime news websites and social media. 

Management is working closely with our new colleagues: visiting customers and suppliers, taking in the technical processes of the business and carrying out all aspects of onboarding. With a new area of the maritime industry to support, our calendar got a lot busier with exhibitions aimed at workboats and fishing vessels, effectively doubling our trade fairs attendance for 2026. 

Covering the globe from Asia to South America, with a higher concentration of events in Europe, here are the exhibitions where you’ll find either Simplex Turbulo or Clements Engineering on the exhibitors list:

With just over one month to go, all the focus is currently on APM. On this occasion Simplex Turbulo will be presenting Parker’s newest addition to their condition-based monitoring range, the On-line Ferrous Wear Meter (OFWM). The newest version of the popular Ferrous Wear Meter, the OFWM is installed directly on the scrape-down oil pipework, measuring engine wear particles concentration at regular intervals, thus providing trends and early damage warnings that are essential for preventing engine failure. Watch this space for more news on the OFWM!

In other exhibition news, there are a few other events we will be attending as visitors throughout the year. Starting this week, Matthew Harradine, our Business Representative for the Middle East, will be seeing customers in Dubai while also visiting Breakbulk tomorrow.

Later in the year we’re planning to attend events at the London Shipping Week, IMPA, ADIPEC and Europort.
