Post-Europort feedback

Earlier this month Richard Blair, Operations Director, and Jon Sargeant, Business Development Manager, visited Europort in Rotterdam.

Richard and Jon met up with Dorota Wisniewska and Nicolás Rodríguez, long-term colleagues and, respectively, SLX Group Business Representatives for Eastern Europe and the Baltic States, and for the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America

Meetings and social engagements with customers, suppliers and some old friends kept our team busy throughout the show. Everyone reported back with extremely positive feedback of a buzzing and well attended show, including a great drinks reception hosted by EMISA.

The most insightful comment came from Dorota, who has over 20 years’ experience in the business and has seen the industry evolve over time:

“My visit to Europort 2025 in Rotterdam left me with a strong sense that the marine propulsion sector is undergoing its most dynamic shift in years. Walking through the halls, I had the clear impression that engine manufacturers are no longer talking about the future of alternative fuels—they are building it now.

For me personally, the fair was both informative and motivating, reinforcing how quickly our sector is evolving and how important it is to stay close to the technological developments shaping the next generation of ships.”

Dorota Wisniewska, Business Representative at SLX Group

Thanks to our colleagues for their excellent work in representing our business abroad!
