Takeaways from OSJ London and our networking schedule for 2025

2025 is setting out to be another busy year for the sales and management teams at SLX Group.

Over the last few weeks, we have laid out a packed schedule of networking engagements with customer visits and exhibitions worldwide over the coming months.

This week SLX Group CEO Justin Brooking and Business Development Manager Jon Sargeant attended the Annual Offshore Support Journal Conference (OSJ) in London. This three-day event provides the largest forum for vessel owners, operators, shipbuilders, charterers and suppliers across the global offshore sector.

The OSJ panel of industry experts presented fundamental insights on the direction of travel within the offshore industry. The debates and discussions delved into future fuels requirements, regional offshore fleets around the world and opportunities in the offshore wind sector.

The event also offered plenty of networking opportunities creating a relaxed atmosphere to engage in targeted conversations during lunch, breaks, drink reception and awards dinner. 

Jon is still raving on about the insightful presentations and has already shared with us colleagues the main takeaways as he plans the next steps to build on the leads and business opportunities OSJ provided.
